Perez Hilton wins judgment against PerezRevenge site

Gossip blogger Perez Hilton has exacted sweet, sweet revenge on a website called, appropriately, PerezRevenge.com.

Last summer Hilton (aka Mario Lavandeira) brought a complaint in federal court in Los Angeles against the operators of the site, which the self-professed Queen of All Media claimed was trying to piggyback off his famous name (or, in this case, fake name), as well as the look and feel of his popular site.

Now U.S. District Court Judge Gary Feess — yes, the same Judge Feess from the infamous “Watchmen” litigation — has signed a Judgment preventing defendants Infuse LLC, Margie Rogers and Elizabeth Silver-Fagan from using the PerezRevenge name for a gossip site and, even more broadly, from “using the term ‘Perez’ to designate any platform, medium, and/or website that contains entertainment or celebrity news or gossip.”

Feess also ordered ownership of PerezRevenge to be turned over to Hilton. The surprisingly litigious blogger, repped by Bryan Freedman at Freedman & Taitelman, has had some success in his cases recently. We just checked PerezRevenge and it’s still up and running … though we imagine its days are likely numbered.
