McGeorge law school‘s long-standing Summer Program on International Legal Studies has been operating in the beautiful city of Salzburg, Austria since 1974. This year, we are particularly pleased to announce that Bryan Freedman, Founding Partner at Freedman & Taitelman LLP will teach Negotiating Entertainment Contracts. We will also offer Doing Business in Europe: EU and International Law Essentials, taught by European law professors Patrick Warto and Gudrun Zagel.

Not only will students get the opportunity to spend time in a 16th-century classroom, but they will also have additional time to engage with students and professors during social activities. In addition to law students and graduates from the United States, the program seeks to enroll students from other countries. For summer 2022, we anticipate enrolling 30 students. In 2019, we enrolled seven non-U.S. students from countries including, but not limited to, Austria, Denmark, and Italy. We also enrolled 31 students from U.S. law schools.

The European Law in Practice (internship) portion of the program runs from May 23 to July 1, 2022.

The Summer Program on International Legal Studies goes from July 3 to July 22, 2022.
