Sterling Henderson counsels clients from a broad range of industries, with an emphasis on entertainment and business litigation, including contract, employment, intellectual property, and corporate and partnership disputes, as well as intentional tort, business tort, and real estate litigation. Sterling has extensive experience in all phases of litigation in both federal and state courts and has effectively resolved numerous cases through mediation, arbitration, and trial. Sterling also specializes in public-relations and crisis-management.
Sterling balances his litigation practice by advising on the business and transactional needs of corporate and individual clients, including matters of corporate formation, structuring and governance, business strategy, and real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and services.
Sterling represents a variety of clients, including celebrities and public figures, artists, entertainers, media personalities, influencers, executives, and entertainment and media entities, as well as high-net-worth individuals, real estate owners, investors, and developers, contractors, and businesses large and small.
Prior to joining Freedman Taitelman + Cooley, LLP, Sterling was an equity partner at a boutique litigation firm in Century City and senior counsel at an international firm.
Sterling earned his law degree from Santa Clara University in 2010 and his B.A. from St. John’s University in 2007.
Sterling is admitted to practice before all courts in the States of California, Alaska, and Washington. He is a member of the Langston Bar Association, the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
